11+ PREPARATION
Many students in the UK sit Common Entrance (11+) exams as part of the admission process into selective secondary schools.
Independent schools require students to take this exam and select students based on their results. A pass rate of 70% is usually required. The entrance exams are highly competitive, they require a great deal of preparation, and parents should start to make plans at least a year in advance for the exams. At Ealing Tutoring we offer support for children in exam skills as well as providing mock interviews. We have some incredible teachers who work in Key Sage 2 at schools in Ealing. These teachers are highly experienced in delivering specialist lessons specifically tailored towards the 11+ examination process.
ONLINE LESSONS
Our teachers are experienced and trained in our interactive, easy to use software and pupils are responding very positively to the online sessions during the current social distancing measures. Online lessons include creative, engaging games, activity slides, shared whiteboard screens and video webcam. As well as helping develop their IT skills children will also have the continuity of their usual tutoring sessions with a qualified teacher. This gives them structure, expectation and a familiar face at a time when it’s perhaps needed the most.
